Kevin Groves received his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Victoria in 2002 before pursuing a Master’s degree in Journalism at the University of British Columbia. After five years of working as a reporter in B.C. and Ontario, Kevin came back to the Lower Mainland and attended the UBC Faculty of Law. He was called to the bar in 2009.
Since then, Kevin has appeared on a regular basis in the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia. He is proud to bring his negotiation and litigation skills to the areas of divorce, custody and access, property division and maintenance. He can advise when to settle, mediate or argue your case at trial based on your individual circumstances. He believes that each case requires careful decision making to get optimal results and derives great satisfaction helping clients navigate the often emotionally charged issues in family law.
Outside the office, Kevin enjoys weightlifting, cycling and combat sports. Despite the odds, he is happily married to another family law lawyer.
